About Aakshi Verma, Physiotherapist

Aakshi Verma is a passionate Physiotherapist who graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Gian Sagar Medical College in India in 2014. She has gained valuable experience working in a Neuro Rehabilitation clinic in India for four years before moving to Canada to further her career in the field of physiotherapy. Since becoming a member of the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario in 2019, Aakshi has expanded her expertise by working in multidisciplinary clinics in Kitchener and Mississauga.

Aakshi has pursued additional training to enhance her skills, completing courses in Soft Tissue Release (Level 1), Physical Approach to Urinary Incontinence (Level 1), Pelvic Health (Level 2) focusing on treatment for pelvic pain through a trauma-informed lens, and certification in BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) to treat patients with vertigo. Her dedication to continued education ensures she remains at the forefront of physiotherapy practices.

In her free time, Aakshi enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters and traveling. She maintains her physical fitness through activities like yoga and Zumba. Aakshi is committed to making a positive impact in her clients' lives, believing that with the right knowledge, skills, and dedication, she can help others achieve their health and wellness goals.
